Sadly, we lost Nero to a lightning strike on May 16, 2019. He was the very first foal for Waypoint Farm and was incredibly special. A kind, sensitive soul, he will be missed tremendously.
At one year, Nero already stands nearly 15.2hh! Nero was recently gelded and gets bigger and prettier every day. He has the quality gaits, presence and brain to be a top dressage prospect. His long legs and wide strong chest set him apart at first glance. Take a closer look and you’re pulled in by his huge kind eye, pretty features and curiosity.
His sire is known for consistently throwing foals with great work ethic and good minds. His dam comes from a line of top show horses with no quit and excellent bone. Nero’s maternal granddam, Keberna (KWPN) was a Keur mare. Nero earned his Premium at the September 2018 ADHHA Keuring. In a 1-week preparation, Nero learned to lead, haul quietly, bathe, stand to be groomed and braided and stand for the farrier. He’s a quick learner!
