Waypoint Farm is proud to be breeding and competing both American Saddlebreds and Dutch Harness horses in various sport disciplines, with a focus in combined driving events.
Owner Kim Moore has been partnered with CH Good Deal since late 2007 in the Saddlebred Hunter Country Pleasure division, when she catch-rode him for his previous owner before buying him the following spring. The pair went on to win several World’s Championship and Reserve World’s Championship titles in that division while moonlighting at the occasional foxhunt, open hunter show and trail ride.
In 2012 Doodad became the first Saddlebred in history to earn his record championship in the hunter division; just over a year later he was trained to drive. In 2015 the pair went to their first two pleasure driving shows and won the Novice Horse division at both. Completely hooked on the sport, their first CDE was in May 2016 and they haven’t looked back! They competed at the Intermediate level in 2017…while also traveling to two hunter paces and an eventing mini trial where they placed 3rd of nearly 20 entries!
In 2018 Doodad got his FEI passport and he and Kim completed their two required FEI 1* competitions to qualify them to compete at the FEI 2* level.
